Having said that, Trap's boys remain seven points clear of Bulgaria in second spot, two points behind leaders and group favourites Italy. This display once again highlights the lack of quality, especially in key midfield areas, and the absolutely critical need to encourage Stephen Ireland's return and for Trap to end his feud with Andy Reid.
