Denmark beats Albania 3-0 in World Cup qualifier

COPENHAGEN (AP) — Denmark beat Albania 3-0 to stay at the top of Group 1 in World Cup qualifying on Wednesday.
Leon Andreasen scored with a shot from outside the box in the 30th minute, Soren Larsen added a second in the 37th after a pass from Dennis Rommedahl, and Christian Poulsen beat goalkeeper Isli Hidi in the 80th.
"We played a good game," Denmark coach Morten Olsen said. The win "gives a certain comfort but it must not be a pillow."
Denmark, which has scored three goals in four straight World Cup qualifiers, and Hungary have 13 points each in the group.
