Fernando Torres can sate an appetite for silverware whetted with Spain last summer, according to his Liverpool colleague Pepe Reina, who believes the young pretender is ready to show that he is heir to Didier Drogba’s crown as the world’s best striker.
Torres spoke on Monday of vowing to himself that Spain's European Championship triumph in Austria and Switzerland would be the beginning of a glut of trophies at club and international level.
