Cagliari boss Massimiliano Allegri believes his in-form team can now play with "no pressure" after securing their Serie A status.
The Rossoblu host Catania on Sunday sitting very comfortably in seventh place on 42 points.
Their 1-0 win at Bologna last time out assured the Isolani a spot in the top flight next season with nine games remaining, something which has taken everyone by surprise, including Allegri.
"We are very happy with the work we have done so far," he said. "Especially when looking back at our opening five defeats of the campaign.
"We didn't anticipate that at this stage of the campaign we would already have defended our top-flight status."
