TBILISI, Georgia (AP) — Georgia and Montenegro played to a 0-0 draw Wednesday in a World Cup qualifying match.
Neither team came close to scoring at the 40,000-seat Boris Paichadze stadium.
Only 2,000 Georgians came to see the Group 8 game, with most fans boycotting the national team for poor performances in World Cup qualifying.
Both Georgia and Montenegro have three points at the bottom of the group standings. Georgia has played seven matches and Montenegro five.
Georgia next hosts Italy in September, while Montenegro will be at Cyprus on June 6.
